My 13th and final log from the Airbus Theme Park for 2007, this time with car and combined tour of the Clement Ader plant (A330/ 340 production) plus preserved Air France Concorde F-BVFC.  The SSC visit is highly recommended as it also provides extended close-up views of the (old) delivery stands – currently used by ATR and various other production and painting hangars not easily visible from elsewhere on the perimeter.

Details on the retirement of this wonderful aircraft, and some great photos, can be found at http://www.concordesst.com/retire/fc_final.html

Note.  ‘BIKINI’ engine test cell is now intact again having been repaired following the recent Etihad 346 accident.

Blagnac – Friday 28/12/2007 10:25 – 21:40L

The usual disclaimers apply:  Brackets indicate assumed reg. from previous intelligence.  No brackets = positive sighting.  All times are French local.

As we visited during the Christmas holidays, apart from the visitors to the terminal area, all frames noted were parked-up all day.
