A splash and dash for my September visit courtesy of a cancelled outbound flight (no prior notice – thanks easyjet!) and a reschedule to a lunchtime flight. 

This meant that the pre-booked Mach II with A380 option were missed severely limiting the numbers seen and, of course, photographic opportunities. 

Highlights were the A380s at the LAGARDERE plant.  MSN009, the Engine Alliance testbed, has finally emerged from re-work to production standard for onward delivery to Emirates Airline.  MSN038, the first for Lufthansa, was also outside and basking in the late afternoon sunshine resulting in some nice portraits.  On a downer, MSN0047 for Qantas was now in storage configuration – yellow primer, silver tape, etc.  

Moving in the opposite direction, over at the 330/340 production, MSN1034 appeared to be about to re-enter the production cycle as it was parked at the ZIEGLER DC wash station, presumably to have its coat of storage primer washed off. 

An A320 highlight was the roll out of the latest example for Sichuan Airlines, MSN4068 which had been painted over at Air France Industries.
