Following a little break over the summer the A320 Production Status and the A330/340 Productions Status page have now been updated and will continue to be regularly updated now that the flying activities at Airbus have resumed.

We will also soon have a new log for the 25th August courtesy of A380Spotter, in the mean time his photos from that trip are available on Flickr.

EK407 Tail Stike - A6-ERG A340-541 MSN 608 Emirates

Surprise of the day! Original rear tail section from A6-ERG (reg still visible under red sticker) which was damaged following a tail strike at Melbourne while operating EK407 on the 20th March 2009. The aircraft was flown back to Toulouse on the 19th June 2009 for repairs. The repairs are reported to have cost $80 million with the rear tail section replaced. As can be seen by the primer tail section in this photo.A6-ERG returned to service on 1st December 2009.
