Presumably performed an RTO at 20:30 (as did the other one) as it taxied at high speed, turning off at the BIKINI intersection, back across 32L and back to original position. Was delivered, with MSN 915, the following day.

AIRBUS PLANT
Surprise of the day! Original rear tail section from A6-ERG (reg still visible under red sticker) which was damaged following a tail strike at Melbourne while operating EK407 on the 20th March 2009. The aircraft was flown back to Toulouse on the 19th June 2009 for repairs. The repairs are reported to have cost $80 million with the rear tail section replaced. As can be seen by the primer tail section in this photo.A6-ERG returned to service on 1st December 2009.
